The NEHEN Transaction Guidelines fill the role of many healthcare
organizations' "Companion Guides". All NEHEN payers and providers
adhere to the published HIPAA Implementation Guides for the format of
the transactions sent, but we have found that there are many helpful
hints that can be included to make it easier to automate these
transactions.
